This studio recording features the Eminence Symphony Orchestra performing arrangements and highlights from the films of anime director Makoto Shinkai, who is often compared to Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli. PROMISE faithfully captures the nostalgia and emotional resonance of composer Tenmon’s iconic creations, including pieces from Voices of a Distant Star, She and her Cat and 5cm per second.

Shiro Hamaguchi (key arranger for the Final Fantasy series) joins Akifumi Tada and Yasunori Iwasaki, with guest arranger Roger Lock, in shaping this unique album.
